AI classification
Formkove reads every form submission before anything is sent, filters spam, detects sentiment, and assigns the tags you define. No training data or manual rules needed.
The spam filter is included on every plan. Sentiment, custom tags and routing are Pro and Agency features.
Free Plan: AI Spam Filter
Section titled “Free Plan: AI Spam Filter”On the Free plan, every submission gets a single spam check before the notification email goes out. It’s on by default; switch it off per form on the AI tab. Spam is quarantined exactly as on paid plans: it stays in your dashboard (filter by spam) and doesn’t count toward your monthly limit. If the check can’t run, the submission is delivered normally.
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”- A submission arrives and is stored.
- Formkove classifies it: a spam score, a sentiment, and any of your tags that apply.
- Spam is quarantined. It stays in your dashboard (filter by spam) but no email, webhook, Slack, Discord, Sheets or Zapier delivery goes out, and it doesn’t count toward your monthly limit.
- Everything else is delivered with the AI result attached: in notification emails, Slack/Discord messages, and webhook/Google Sheets payloads.
Classification usually takes well under a second. If it fails, Formkove delivers the submission anyway, without an AI result, so you never lose a submission because of AI.
Setting It Up
Section titled “Setting It Up”- Go to Forms → select your form → AI tab
- Pick a starting preset: Contact Form, Bug Tracker, Careers & Hiring, or Custom Template
- Adjust the Form purpose: one sentence describing what the form is for (max 200 characters). It helps the AI judge what’s relevant.
- Edit your tags
- Turn AI on and save
Each tag has a short name and a plain-language description of what it should catch. You can define up to 20 tags per form.
| Tag | Description |
|---|---|
sales |
Inquiries about pricing, custom plans, or commercial requests |
support |
General help requests, technical issues, or questions |
bug |
Reports of broken features, system errors, or crashes |
p0_critical |
Urgent issues blocking core usage (outage, data loss) |
A submission can get several tags, or none. If nothing matches, it simply gets no tags.
Spam Score
Section titled “Spam Score”Every classified submission gets a spam score from 0 (clean) to 1 (spam). Submissions scoring 0.7 or higher are treated as spam and quarantined.
You can filter the submissions table by spam status, sentiment and tag.
Sentiment
Section titled “Sentiment”Formkove labels each submission positive, neutral, or negative. Use it to send negative feedback straight to support, or to collect positive submissions as testimonials.
Routing by AI Result
Section titled “Routing by AI Result”Each integration (webhook, Slack, Discord, Google Sheets, Zapier) can be limited to certain AI results: a sentiment, any of a set of tags, and/or a maximum spam score. For example:
supportandbug→ your support Slack channelsales→ your CRM webhooknegativesentiment → a Discord channel your founders watch
Set this up in Integrations → Connections → Routing. See AI routing rules for how matching works.
Where AI Results Appear
Section titled “Where AI Results Appear”| Destination | What you get |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Spam status, sentiment and tags on each submission, with filters |
| Notification email | An “AI” line under the submission details |
| Slack / Discord | An “AI” line with sentiment and tags |
| Webhooks & Google Sheets | An ai object: { "sentiment", "tags", "spam_score" } |
Limits
Section titled “Limits”- AI runs on up to 300 submissions per hour per form on Pro and Agency, and 60 per hour on Free. Beyond that, submissions are still accepted and delivered, just without an AI check.
- Formkove analyzes the text of your form fields. It doesn’t read file attachments.
- AI runs on Cloudflare Workers AI, listed as a subprocessor in the Privacy Policy.
To route submissions by AI result, see Zapier and Webhooks.
